Harpsichord recital at the Abbey of Septfontaines
Mario Raskin, Franco-Argentinian harpsichordist, settles in the Abbey of Septfontaines on the occasion of the Meetings at the Garden 2023.
In his recital program, he offers us a musical walk through the sounds of the birds that inhabit our gardens, as described by François Couperin in pieces such as "The nightingale in love", "The frightened linotte" and "The plaintive warblers", or "Bird Recall" by Rameau, among others. The program will be completed with works by other major composers of the eighteenth century, such as Bach, Handel, Scarlatti and Sebastian de Albero whose Mario Raskin has just recorded the complete cycle "30 sonatas para clavicordio"-"30 sonatas for harpsichord". A festive musical meeting where the joyful pieces will alternate with more meditative and melancholic works.
Snack bar and small restaurant on site.
At the Abbey of Septfontaines, the day of June 3 will be punctuated with various activities, accessible either separately or in formula.
