The Manoir de la Mare was built in the 17th century by the Le Marchand family known for its charity towards the populatioins. Hospital and school in the eighteenth century, farm in the nineteenth, the house is today a Catholic school run by a religious community. Porch, watchtower, stairs and fireplaces classified, graffiti numerous, precious witnesses of past times... High school students are happy to welcome you and guide you to their school, telling you its story. At the end of the visit, a "pen holder workshop" will be offered.
