The town of Quetteville, opens the doors of the church Saint-Laurent, September 21 and 22 from 10am to 6pm. Discover the 11th century church with its southern square tower. There will be an exhibition of the church’s archives. Placed on an eminence, the church has been modified several times since its construction in the eleventh century. If the nave still has evidence of this period (capitals at the entrance of the chapel Saint-Laurent, for example), the choir, smaller than the nave, is later, as well as the bell tower (XIIIth century), built on the side of the nave. The base of the latter serves as a chapel dedicated to Saint-Laurent.

Put on an éminence, the church was altered again and again from its construction in the XIth century. If the nave still possesses stories of this time(period) (capitals(big tops) at the entrance(admission) of the chapel St-Laurent, for example), the chorus(choir), less wide than the nave, is later as well as the bell tower (XIIIth century), builds on the south side of the nave. The base(basis) of the latter(this last) serves as chapel devoted to saint Laurent.
