Founded in the 13th century, but rebuilt in the 18th century, the Abbey of Mondaye still houses a community of some thirty Premonstratensian religious. During the guided tour of about 60 minutes, a brother of the community will guide you in the abbey church, the sacristy, the library with 35,000 books or the cloister. Opportunity to visit a living heritage place.

The abbey listed(classified) in conformance with(for) historic monuments, was based(established) in 1202\. Belonging to the order of Prémontrés, it is still active currently. Buildings(Ships) of the XVIIIth century s.: church, conventual buildings(ships) (sacristy, library(bookcase), refectory, cloister, room of the chapter), buildings(ships) of farm of the XVIIIth century s., renovated in 2012\. In this abbey of the XVIIIth century s., a religious community of brothers' about twenty welcomes you to show you the places in which it lives and makes live every day. The brothers will receive you and show you: the minster, the sacristy, the library(bookcase)...
