WORKSHOP/VISIT AND SPORTING ACTIVITY IN NEOLITHIC

Organized by: CAUE du Calvados

Thanks to the guided tour led by an archaeologist of the archaeological department of the Calvados Department, heritage children will be able to discover the Neolithic period.
Owned by the Calvados Department, the Tumulus de Colombiers –sur- Seulles is the oldest funerary monument of remarkable dimensions still visible in Normandy. In addition to the monument, children will be able to discover the funeral chamber and its contents installed specially for this visit. Children can safely try spear throwing. The activity is facilitated by a mediator.
In half-groups, the children will be able to follow the workshop/ visit for one hour, and to devote themselves to the sporting activity during the same time and then to switch.
