[Canceled] Tasting concert at the Black Prince Castle (Lormont)
The Bordeaux Wine Festival avant-premières events
From June 20, as if to invite the Bordeaux region to remember the diversity of Bordeaux wines, before gathering on the banks of the river, the festivities begin to sparkle throughout the metropolis. On the program: numerous wine-tasting concerts in unusual venues!
See you in Lormont!
Overlooking the Garonne River and the entrance to Bordeaux, this singular château has been destroyed and rebuilt many times since the end of the 11th century. The scene of negotiations at the end of the Hundred Years' War, it takes its name from the fantastical accents of Edward de Woodstock, Prince of Wales and Aquitaine nicknamed the "Black Prince", who stayed here in the 14th century, before it became the country residence of the Archbishops of Bordeaux. Completely renovated in 2007, it is dedicated to you for a jazzy evening! Clarinettist-singer Armonia and pianist Serge Moulinier, the Armonia&Co duo, offer a concert of swinging jazz from the 20s to the 40s. A warm, original and intimate atmosphere that will take you on a journey from New Orleans, the cradle of jazz, to Chicago, via the great New York club era...
