On a whim, Mathyas swapped his advertising career in Montreal for that of a shepherd in Provence. He hoped to find peace, he discovers a exhausting job and often farmers at their end. But when he meets Elise who has also left everything, they are entrusted with a herd of 800 sheep and engage in transhumance. Together, they will go through the trials of the mountain and shape a new life.
This film is being presented in a national premiere.

Sur un coup de tête, Mathyas troque sa vie de publicitaire à Montréal pour celle de berger en Provence. Il espérait trouver la quiétude, il découvre un métier éreintant et des éleveurs souvent à bout. Mais quand il rencontre Élise qui elle aussi vient de tout quitter, ils se voient confier un troupeau de 800 moutons et s’engagent dans une transhumance. Ensemble, ils vont traverser les épreuves de la montagne et se façonner une vie nouvelle.

In een gril ruilde Mathyas zijn reclamecarrière in Montreal in voor die van een herder in de Provence. Hij hoopte vrede te vinden, hij ontdekt een vermoeiende baan en vaak boeren aan hun einde Maar als hij Elise ontmoet die ook alles heeft verlaten, worden ze toevertrouwd met een kudde van 800 schapen en nemen ze deel aan transhumance. Samen zullen ze de beproevingen van de berg doorstaan en een nieuw leven vormen.
