QUANTA told by the people who live the adventure of this singular structure. Through the testimonies, the themes of meaning given to work, disability, insertion and challenges of this human enterprise are outlined. But humans are not the only ones to speak up!
Amandine DHÉE also observed the birds, so present in the Heron Park, and decided to make their voices heard, in an approach both poetic and scientific. Because the birds, somewhere between us and the sky, invite us to gain height...
Equipped with a suitcase that he changed into a bass drum, Matt VAN T. travels from cities to villages like a medicine show and performs a retro-country set with his 'One-man Band'. Inspired by Country Music in the broad sense, his influences are anachronic and range from Jimmie Rodger, Uncle Dave Macon, The Carter Family, Jimmy Martins, Merle Travis, Doc Watson, Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb until more recently, Possesed by Paul James, Scott H. biram, Sierra Ferrel, Billie String, through Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, Townes Van Zant and many others..

QUANTA raconté par les personnes qui vivent l’aventure de cette structure singulière. A travers les témoignages, se dessinent les thématiques du sens donné au travail, du handicap, de l’insertion et des enjeux de cette entreprise humaine. Mais les humains ne sont pas les seuls à prendre la parole !
Amandine DHÉE a également observé les oiseaux, si présents dans le parc du Héron, et a décidé de faire entendre leur voix, dans une démarche à la fois poétique et scientifique. Car les oiseaux, quelque part entre nous et le ciel, nous invitent à prendre de la hauteur…
Équipé d’une valise qu’il a changé en grosse caisse, Matt VAN T. vagabonde de villes en villages tel un medicine show et performe un set de Rétro-Country avec son ”One-man Band”. Inspiré par la Country Music au sens large, ses influences sont anachroniques et vont de Jimmie Rodger, Uncle Dave Macon, The Carter Family, Jimmy Martins, Merle Travis, Doc Watson, Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb jusqu’à plus récemment, Possesed by Paul James, Scott H. biram, Sierra Ferrel, Billie String, en passant par Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, Townes Van Zant et bien d’autres..

QUANTA verteld door de mensen die leven het avontuur van deze bijzondere structuur. Door de getuigenissen worden de thema's van betekenis gegeven aan werk, invaliditeit, insluiting en uitdagingen van deze menselijke onderneming geschetst. Maar mensen zijn niet de enigen die zich uitspreken!
Amandine DHÉE observeerde ook de vogels, zo aanwezig in het Heron Park, en besloot om hun stem te laten horen, in een benadering zowel poëtisch als wetenschappelijk. Omdat de vogels, ergens tussen ons en de hemel, ons uitnodigen om hoogte te krijgen...
Uitgerust met een koffer die hij in een basdrum veranderde, reist Matt VAN T. van steden naar dorpen als een medicijnshow en voert een retro-country set uit met zijn 'One-man Band'.
