We offer you a session around the film Cléo de 5 à 7 by Agnès Varda.
In real time, the film follows Cléo during two decisive hours in Paris: a parenthesis where we observe his fears, his encounters, his doubts... and the way in which a look at oneself and the world can change. At the same time sensitive, modern and of great freedom, Cléo from 5 to 7 is a luminous classic, carried by the beauty of images and the precision of emotions.
The screening will be followed by an exchange with Matéo Boussin, Margaux Maekelberg and Thierry de Pinsun, film critic and editor-in-chief of the website On se fait un ciné, to come back to the film, to share impressions and reading keys around the film... and the pleasure of debating together.
Presentation by Thierry de Pinsun:
Film critic (but also music on La grosse radio!) for about twenty years, Thierry has striven in different ways to defend this art that he cherishes so much (by the podcast Some like it hot, by certain participations in other shows, professional writing...) before joining in 2019 We are doing a cinema as Director of publications. Since then, he forms the new pens of his editorial team to refine their critical thinking, and testifies through his articles of a constant evolution of his vision of cinema: a window that helps us with the images and visions of author ices that we perceive to understand the world. Putting his often cynical pen at the service of his commitments, he considers critical work as that of a commentator on the surrounding world who uses films to demonstrate his own idea of what surrounds him.

Nous vous proposons une séance autour du film Cléo de 5 à 7 d’Agnès Varda.
En temps réel, le film suit Cléo pendant deux heures décisives dans Paris : une parenthèse où l’on observe ses peurs, ses rencontres, ses doutes… et la façon dont un regard sur soi et sur le monde peut changer. À la fois sensible, moderne et d’une grande liberté, Cléo de 5 à 7 est un classique lumineux, porté par la beauté des images et la précision des émotions.
La projection sera suivie d’un échange avec Matéo Boussin, Margaux Maekelberg et Thierry de Pinsun, critique de cinéma et rédacteur en chef du site On se fait un ciné, pour revenir sur le film, pour partager impressions et clés de lecture autour du film… et le plaisir de débattre ensemble.
Présentation de Thierry de Pinsun :
Critique de cinéma (mais aussi de musique sur La grosse radio !) depuis une vingtaine d'années, Thierry s'est évertué de différentes manières à défendre cet art qu'il chérit tant (par le podcast Certains l'aiment à chaud, par certaines participations à d'autres émissions, rédaction professionnelles...) avant de rejoindre en 2019 On se fait un ciné en qualité de Directeur des publications. Depuis, il forme les nouvelles plumes de sa rédaction pour affiner leur esprit critique, et témoigne par ses articles d'une évolution constante de sa vision du cinéma : une fenêtre qui nous aide par les images et les visions d'auteur·ices que nous percevons à comprendre le monde. Mettant sa plume souvent cynique au service de ses engagements, il considère le travail critique comme celui d'un commentateur de l'autour qui utilise les films pour démontrer sa propre idée de ce qui l'entoure.

In real time volgt de film Cléo gedurende twee beslissende uren in Parijs: Een haakje waar we zijn angsten, ontmoetingen, twijfels observeren... en de manier waarop een blik op jezelf en de wereld kan veranderen. Tegelijkertijd gevoelig, modern en met grote vrijheid, is Cléo van 5 tot 7 een lichtgevende klassieker, gedragen door de schoonheid van beelden en de precisie van emoties.
De vertoning wordt gevolgd door een uitwisseling met Matéo Boussin, Margaux Maekelberg en Thierry de Pinsun, filmcriticus en hoofdredacteur van de website over se fait un ciné, om terug te komen op de film, om indrukken en leestoetsen rond de film te delen... en het plezier om samen te debatteren.

Filmcriticus (maar ook muziek op La grosse radio!) Thierry streeft al ongeveer twintig jaar op verschillende manieren naar het verdedigen van deze kunst die hij zo koestert (door de podcast sommige zoals het heet, door bepaalde deelnames in andere shows, professioneel schrijven...) Voordat we in 2019 lid werden, doen we een bioscoop als directeur van publicaties. Sindsdien vormt hij de nieuwe pennen van zijn redactieteam om hun kritisch denken te verfijnen en getuigt hij in zijn artikelen van een constante evolutie van zijn visie op de film: Een venster dat ons helpt met de beelden en visies van auteur ices die we waarnemen om de wereld te begrijpen. Door zijn vaak cynische pen ten dienste te stellen van zijn verplichtingen, beschouwt hij kritisch werk als dat van een commentator over de wereld die films gebruikt om zijn eigen idee te laten zien van wat hem omringt.
