Tuesday, October 29 from 10am to 12pm, come and learn with your family how to make the delicious waffles of the museums, elaborated according to a traditional recipe!
A workshop to share with the family, in groups of 2 to 5 people.

On the agenda:

Discover the recipe for brown sugar filled waffles that were once made to celebrate the new year!

  • Work with your family and measure, add the ingredients (organic!) and knead the dough then prepare the fodder.
  • Then comes the time to cook and make waffles!
  • The morning ends with a participatory guided tour of the kitchen and bakery to understand where flour comes from and how it was cooked without today’s electrical appliances.
  • And of course you will leave with your waffles at home to share with your friends!
    On registration.

The Musée du Terroir traces the rural and domestic life of the inhabitants of northern France at the beginning of the 20th century.
In the typical setting of an old farm with a square courtyard, the Musée du Terroir allows you to dive into everyday life in the twentieth century and also to discover the tools and practices of craftsmen of yesteryear such as blacksmith or saddler. With more than 5,000 objects, the museum is the ideal place for transmission between generations.
