The LaM is launching raw, its new program dedicated to young creation.
From June 13, 2026
Through the presentation of exhibitions by young contemporary artists, the museum becomes a field of experimentation: an open, critical and lively place where plural narratives dialogue.
The first artist presented in this program, Jessy Razafimandimby, born in Madagascar in 1995, explores painting, sculpture and drawing, which he integrates into immersive installations made by assembling found objects.
Echoing the collection of the LaM - including some major figures of art brut - he develops a new set of works mixing human and animal figures. Unpublished, his installation integrates furniture, textile fragments and trinkets, partly found at the Grande Braderie de Lille in 2025.

Le LaM lance raw, son nouveau programme dédié à la jeune création.
A partir du 13 juin 2026
À travers la présentation d'expositions de jeunes artistes contemporains, le musée devient un terrain d'expérimentations : un lieu ouvert, critique et vivant, où dialoguent des récits pluriels.
Premier artiste présenté dans le cadre de ce programme, Jessy Razafimandimby, né à Madagascar en 1995, explore la peinture, la sculpture et le dessin, qu'il intègre dans des installations immersives réalisées par assemblage d'objets trouvés.
En écho à la collection du LaM - notamment certaines figures majeures de l'art brut - il développe un nouvel ensemble d'œuvres mêlant figures humaines et animales. Inédite, son installation intègre mobilier, fragment textiles et bibelots, en partie chinés à la Grande Braderie de Lille en 2025.

Lam lanceert Raw, zijn nieuwe programma gewijd aan jonge creatie.

Door de presentatie van tentoonstellingen van jonge hedendaagse kunstenaars wordt het museum een experimenteerveld: Een open, kritische en levendige plek, waar meervoudsverhalen met elkaar in contact komen.
Jessy Razafimandimby, de eerste kunstenaar gepresenteerd in dit programma, werd geboren in Madagaskar in 1995. Hij onderzoekt schilderkunst, beeldhouwkunst en tekening, die hij integreert in immersieve installaties gemaakt door het verzamelen van gevonden objecten.
In navolging van de collectie van de lam - met name enkele belangrijke figuren van ruwe kunst - ontwikkelt hij een nieuwe reeks werken waarin mens en dier figuren worden gemengd. Ongepubliceerd integreert zijn installatie meubels, textielfragmenten en snuisterijen, deels gemaakt op de Grande Braderie de Lille in 2025.
