To conclude the season in the most extraordinary way, the Geneva Camerata is joining forces with the Grand Théâtre de Genève (The Geneva Opera House) to present a mind-blowing multidisciplinary show combining dance, music and theatre. Wishing to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s passing with eclecticism, courage, and diversity, the two institutions will revisit the Ninth Symphony, one of the greatest masterpieces in history. The orchestra, soloists and choir will perform this legendary work entirely from memory, while taking part in a gripping staging and choreography elaborated by Juan Kruz Díaz de Garaio Esnaola.

Pour terminer la saison en apothéose, le Geneva Camerata s’associe au Grand Théâtre de Genève, dévoilant un spectacle pluridisciplinaire sensationnel entre danse, musique et théâtre. Souhaitant célébrer avec éclectisme et diversité les 200 ans de la disparition de Beethoven, les deux institutions revisiteront la Neuvième Symphonie, considérée comme l’un des plus importants chefs-d’oeuvre de l’histoire. L’orchestre, les solistes et le choeur interpréteront cet ouvrage mythique entièrement par coeur, tout en participant à une mise en scène et chorégraphie saisissantes de Juan Kruz Díaz de Garaio Esnaola.
