Les Toiles Filantes, the not-to-be-missed festival for young audiences organized by Cinéma Jean Eustache, reopens its doors on February 26! Every year, the Toiles Filantes festival brings together young cinema-goers (aged 3-12 and their families) to celebrate the 7th art at the Cinéma Jean Eustache.
An original theme
The 19th edition of the festival returns with a highly appealing theme: "Les p'tits plats dans l'écran!", an opportunity to explore the world of the table, food, gourmet delights and flavors - savory or sweet, from here and elsewhere.
Movies & animations
Alongside the must-see films (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the Burton version of course), you can also discover Le Parfum de la carotte, La Chance sourit à Mme Nikuko (a film-ovni from Japan) or the very recent Linda veut du poulet.
As food is a universal subject, touching young and old alike, it opens up infinite possibilities for the kind of activities, workshops and accompanying screenings that make Les Toiles filantes so special. It's also a playful way of opening up to some very serious concerns: pleasing your taste buds and indulging yourself, yes, but in a responsible way: varied, respectful of your own health, of the cycle of the seasons, of short circuits...
