SATURDAY, 1 JUNE Stories of bees, flowers and gardens
Activities for girls and boys from 8 to 11 years.
9.30 am meeting at the Cimenti Park, to discover the conservation project of bees and pollinating insects that was carried out in the green area and to learn more about the life of bees and their importance for the ecosystem. Thiene is in fact a Common Friend of the Bees!
10.15 at the garden of the Monumental Icehouse, open for the occasion, animated themed stories by the voluntary readers Babirussa the Civic Library.
Next, a workshop dedicated to the realization of "seed bombs" (balls of soil and seeds that, once flowered, support the feeding of bees) by the Tourism Office.
The activity will end with a visit to the monumental icehouse, the ancient "cold heart" of the city, to discover how a garden can be beautiful and useful.
