About the location

Storico Giardino di Villa Garzoni - Parco Policentrico Collodi-Pinocchio
piazza della Vittoria 1, 51012 COLLODI
  • Pistoia
  • Toscana
A unique green monument in Europe in which there are echoes and inspirations common with gardens such as that of the Royal Palace of Caserta or that of Wihlelmshohe in Kassel. The Historical Garden Garzoni is a spell of the '700, almost intact until us. The Historical Garden Garzoni is one with the Villa (under restoration, not open to visitors) Here the mother of Carlo Lorenzini/Collodi Angiolina Orzali worked as a girl, and there she met her future husband, Domenico Lorenzini. The complex is an integral part of the Park Policentrico Collodi- Pinocchio with the adjacent Monumental Park of Pinocchio. The Historic Garzoni Garden is part of the European Way of the Historic Gardens.
