The Abbey Church of San Pietro, whose first attestation dates back to 1259, is the oldest in the city of Cherasco. A small architectural jewel whose medieval imprint can still be perceived in the facade and in the bell tower, but above all in the landscape identity of the homonymous and neighboring Garden. A re-proposal of the so-called "gardens of the simple" (from the Latin "medicine simplex" to indicate the medicinal herbs and the places where they were cultivated) that once accompanied the life of the abbeys. A space divided into square compartments that surround a cross path to symbolize the religious bond. A green area that aims to revive the spirit of the monastic community of the past, immersed in a delicate balance between man, nature and agricultural environment
