On this International Women's Rights Day, the MIR invites you to take a tour of the exhibition, featuring the female Art Brut artists it exhibits. Far from conforming to aesthetic conventions, their works reveal a deeply personal vision of the world, highlighting the richness of the female imagination in the face of the mysteries of the beyond.
An embroidered dress designed to join a deceased person in the afterlife, purple and carmine stains to dialogue with spirits, a theater with drawn faces to communicate with departed loved ones.
