Drawing on his ethnographic research in Latin America (with young people living in urban poverty) and in Europe (with migrant and refugee minors), Alix Didier Sarrouy focuses on the importance of the cultural context in order to better understand how the many 'actors in music education' can 'resonate' with each other. These 'actors' are students, teachers, assistants, directors, tutors, parents - and the objects themselves! These 'actors' are students, teachers, assistants, directors, tutors, parents... as well as objects! Alix Didier Sarrouy - Sociologist and musician.
