To celebrate its 200th anniversary, the Conservatoire botanique opens its doors to the public through a photographic immersion of its priceless, little-known treasures!
You'll discover the herbarium and the library, home to impressive heritage collections, which the researchers conserve, enrich and use as a basis for their scientific studies, as well as making them accessible to the public.
There is also a seed bank and a molecular laboratory, essential infrastructures for the cutting-edge research carried out within the institution: inventorying, describing and classifying plant and fungal diversity to ensure its conservation and respond to the many challenges linked to the loss of biodiversity and climate change.
