Fureur de lire: Infolipo
What is Infolipo:
The name infolipo originally stood for informatique and littérature potentielle (computer science and potential literature). The group, founded in 1987 by Ambroise Barras and Pascal Delhom, followed in the footsteps of the Alamo, the computer literary chapel emanating from the Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle (Oulipo). Founded in a distant era when computers were still pulled by oxen, infolipo has endeavored to draw its lines across the furrows of overly commercial or overly scientific computing. infolipo attempts to bring digital technologies closer to the fuzzy thinking of literature and artistic creation: the computing device should open up an unprecedented aesthetic field, where creative experiments can be renewed. infolipo is a workshop of the University of Geneva's Cultural Activities.
