February 6, 2023 - Galactic conversations
The study of galaxies has been of interest for centuries, as they help us understand the universe as a whole and its evolution over time. It is also through their study that we have been able to discover many new astronomical objects, such as supermassive black holes or dark matter.
Join us for a discussion that will shed light on the formation, evolution and ultimate fate of galaxies, as well as many other possible future discoveries. We invite you to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
Speakers from UNIGE: Anne Verhamme, Mirka Dessauges-Zavadsky, David Nagy, Daniel Schaerer
