Les Belles Sorties - Upside down at the place - Lesquin
What if Snow White were a boy? Dreaming of the day when a brave and proud princess would fall in love with him? It is by seizing a classic, whose points of view she reverses with malice, that the director Muriel Imbach tackles a most contemporary question: gender stereotypes. Equipped with audio headsets, children are invited to another listening to tales through an immersive and interactive experience. In front of them, an actor and a noisemaker. On their table, microphones, a bottle of water, some kitchen utensils or two coconuts. They need no more to make, on sight, a small theatre of the ear. A space where the art of suggestion is king. And ideas, wide, have neither side nor place.
