The First World War left a lasting mark on the bodies and minds of soldiers.
During this period, the development of new prostheses and the creation of new institutions are helping to meet the needs of wounded soldiers. Rehabilitation through sport was promoted throughout the 20th century. Through sport, soldiers become the first athletes in sports competitions.
On the occasion of the organization of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in France during the summer of 2024, discover the innovations, major events and the career of these athletes.
At the end of the temporary exhibition, take part in a guided tour led by a deaf mediator and interpreted in French.
