Marc Loopuyt
Marc Loopuyt spent 45 years in Andalusia, the Maghreb, the Arab East, Turkey and Azerbaijan. His travels and residences allowed him to forge his own style as a passionate oud player. He is a composer but above all an improviser and creator of both original and traditional shows where musical, choreographic and poetic invention is queen.
Alongside his deep nature as a traveler, he is also a musicologist, pedagogue and spontaneous polyglot. He is always ready for concerts but also for new sharing or new musical discoveries in the East or West.
