Für die Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes öffnet das industrielle Technikum von Vénissieux ausnahmsweise am Samstag, den 19. September 2026, seine Türen.
In dieser Ausgabe möchten wir das Andenken unserer Mitarbeiter ehren. Unter ihnen haben einige ihren Beruf in einem der größten Eisenbahnstandorte von Lyon ausgeübt: den Ateliers d'Oullins à la Mulatière.
Diese Technik hat die Geschichte des französischen Zuges seit 1846 geprägt: Die ersten Dampflokomotiven fuhren hier, der Prototyp des TGV wurde dort umgebaut und Generationen von Eisenbahnern arbeiteten dort jahrzehntelang.
Im Jahr 2019 wurde ein Teil der Aktivitäten von Oullins nach Vénissieux verlegt. Heute reparieren dort etwa 380 Mitarbeiter die Elektromotoren und Leistungswandler, mit denen die Züge in ganz Frankreich gefahren werden.

7 years of existence and yet 180 years of memory!
For the European Heritage Days, the industrial Technicentre of Vénissieux exceptionally opens its doors on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
For this edition, we wanted to honor the memory of our agents. Among them, some worked in one of the largest railway sites in Lyon: the Ateliers d'Oullins at the Mulatière.
This technicentre has forged the history of the French train since 1846: the first steam locomotives ran there, the prototype that gave birth to the TGV was transformed there, and generations of railway workers worked for decades.
In 2019, part of Oullins' activities was transferred to Vénissieux. Today, nearly 380 agents there repair the electric motors and power converters that make trains run throughout France.
Discover 180 years of history through an exhibition of unpublished archives; and the professional gestures that make the heart of the train beat, every day.

Per le Giornate Europee del Patrimonio, il Technicentre industriel di Vénissieux apre eccezionalmente i battenti sabato 19 settembre 2026.
Per questa edizione, abbiamo voluto onorare la memoria dei nostri agenti. Tra questi, alcuni hanno esercitato la loro professione in uno dei più grandi siti ferroviari di Lione: gli Ateliers d'Oullins à la Mulatière.
Questo tecnico ha fatto la storia del treno francese dal 1846: le prime locomotive a vapore circolavano, il prototipo che diede vita al TGV fu trasformato e generazioni di ferrovieri vi lavorarono per decenni.
Nel 2019, una parte delle attività di Oullins è stata trasferita a Vénissieux. Oggi, circa 380 agenti riparano i motori elettrici e i convertitori di potenza che fanno girare i treni in tutta la Francia.
Venite a scoprire 180 anni di storia attraverso una mostra di archivi inediti; e i gesti professionali che fanno battere, ogni giorno, il cuore del treno.

Pour les Journées Européennes du Patrimoine, le Technicentre industriel de Vénissieux ouvre exceptionnellement ses portes le samedi 19 septembre 2026.
Pour cette édition, nous avons souhaité mettre à l'honneur la mémoire de nos agents. Parmi eux, certains ont exercé leur métier dans l'un des plus grands sites ferroviaires de Lyon : les Ateliers d'Oullins à la Mulatière.
Ce technicentre a forgé l'histoire du train français depuis 1846 : les premières locomotives à vapeur y ont circulé, le prototype qui a donné naissance au TGV y a été transformé, et des générations de cheminots y ont travaillé pendant des décennies.
En 2019, une partie des activités d'Oullins a été transféré à Vénissieux. Aujourd'hui, près de 380 agents y réparent les moteurs électriques et les convertisseurs de puissance qui font rouler les trains de toute la France.

Para esta edición, hemos querido honrar la memoria de nuestros agentes. Entre ellos, algunos han ejercido su oficio en uno de los sitios ferroviarios más grandes de Lyon: los talleres de Oullins a la Mulatière.
Este tecnicismo ha forjado la historia del tren francés desde 1846: las primeras locomotoras a vapor circularon por el país, el prototipo que dio origen al TGV fue transformado y generaciones de ferroviarios trabajaron en él durante décadas.
En 2019, parte de las actividades de Oullins se transfirieron a Vénissieux. Hoy, cerca de 380 agentes reparan los motores eléctricos y los convertidores de potencia que hacen circular los trenes de toda Francia.
