Das seit 1979 eröffnete Atelier Luce SMITS öffnet seine Türen, um den Beruf des Textildesigners und die Arbeit um den Stoff zu entdecken. Als Spezialist für Herrenmäntel und auch für Maßanfertigungen ist Luce SMITS auch Autor mehrerer Bücher, die Kunst, Literatur und Textil verbinden: Marinepullover vom Atlantik bis zur Nordsee; Stricken und Philosophie; und demnächst Zehn Strickstücke zu Ehren der Gemälde von Edward Hopper.

Open since 1979, the Luce SMITS workshop opens its doors to you to discover the profession of textile designer and work around fabric. Specialist in men’s coats and also in custom work, Luce SMITS is also the author of several books combining art, literature and textiles: Marine sweaters from the Atlantic to the North Sea; Knitting and philosophy; and soon Ten pieces of knitting in homage to Edward Hopper’s paintings.
