El castillo fue construido a partir del siglo XIII por los barones de Castelnau, con torre cuadrada y casa señorial. A finales del siglo XIX, Jean Mouliérat, tenor de la ópera Comique lo reacondicionó. Importantes colecciones de muebles y objetos de arte desde la Edad Media hasta el siglo XVIII.
