Zu dieser Kategorie gehört auch das Gaîté Palace, ein ehemaliges großes Stadtteilkino, das 2006 in Le Generator, ein Zentrum für Kunst und Kreativität, umgewandelt wurde. Dieses Gebäude stellt eine wichtige Episode der lokalen Geschichte von Gentilly dar, die ganz besondere Geschichte eines Publikums, das von Generation zu Generation kommt, um sich zu unterhalten, sich zu treffen, zu träumen.

Some places have the ability to reveal the history of a city and its inhabitants.
The Gaîté Palace, a former large neighbourhood cinema, became in 2006 The Generator, a centre of art and creation, is part of this category of places. This building represents an important episode of a local history of Gentilly, that of a very special audience that comes to its walls from generation to generation to entertain, meet, dream.
Once with an intense cinematic activity, now with a program dedicated to the multiple forms of contemporary artistic creation, an exhibition and free visits during these European Heritage Days represent a bridge between what was the Gaîté Palace for more than 50 years and the Generator today.

Il Gaîté Palace, ex grande cinema di quartiere, diventato nel 2006 Le Generatore, centro d'arte e di creazione, fa parte di questa categoria di luoghi. Questo edificio rappresenta un episodio importante di una storia locale di Gentilly, quella molto particolare di un pubblico che viene nelle sue mura di generazione in generazione per divertirsi, incontrarsi, sognare.
Un tempo con un'intensa attività cinematografica, oggi con una programmazione dedicata alle molteplici forme della creazione artistica contemporanea, una mostra e visite libere durante queste giornate europee del patrimonio rappresentano una passerella tra quello che è stato il Gaîté Palace per oltre 50 anni e il Generatore oggi.

Le Gaîté Palace, ancien grand cinéma de quartier, devenu en 2006 Le Générateur, centre d’art et de création, fait partie de cette catégorie de lieux. Ce bâtiment représente un épisode important d’une histoire locale de Gentilly, celle bien particulière d’un public qui vient dans ses murs de génération en génération pour se divertir, se rencontrer, rêver.
Jadis avec une activité cinématographique intense, aujourd’hui avec une programmation dédiée aux multiples formes de la création artistique contemporaine, une exposition et des visites libres pendant ces journées européennes du patrimoine représentent une passerelle entre ce que fut le Gaîté Palace pendant plus de 50 ans et le Générateur aujourd’hui.
