El castillo y su conjunto son originalmente una encomienda y un hospital. Fueron construidos por los templarios alrededor de 1119-1120\. Desde 1130, este conjunto se convierte en señorío. Castillo de Solange Sand en el que se encuentra el ayuntamiento. Las pinturas de la torre realizadas por S. Sand fueron restauradas en 2022.
