Small discreet and endearing animal, the hedgehog is also a precious ally of our gardens. Yet, its way of life remains unknown and its populations are today threatened by many dangers. The LPO offers you through this conference to better know this iconic little animal, understand its ecological role and discover simple gestures to promote its presence near our home. A meeting between science, awareness and practical advice to learn how to live with the hedgehog.

Petit animal discret et attachant, le hérisson est aussi un précieux allié de nos jardins. Pourtant, son mode de vie reste méconnu et ses populations sont aujourd’hui menacées par de nombreux dangers. La LPO vous propose à travers cette conférence de mieux connaître ce petit animal emblématique, de comprendre son rôle écologique et de découvrir les gestes simples pour favoriser sa présence près de chez nous. Une rencontre entre sciences, sensibilisation et conseils pratiques pour apprendre à cohabiter avec le hérisson.

Klein discreet en liefdevol dier, de egel is ook een kostbare bondgenoot van onze tuinen. De manier van leven is echter onbekend en de bevolking wordt nu bedreigd door vele gevaren. Via deze conferentie nodigt de LPO u uit om dit kleine symbolische dier beter te leren kennen, zijn ecologische rol te begrijpen en de eenvoudige acties te ontdekken om zijn aanwezigheid in de buurt te bevorderen. Een ontmoeting tussen wetenschap, bewustzijn en praktisch advies om te leren samenleven met de egel.
