Talks, workshops, and performances exploring the theme “Power & Resistance.” Organized by the API in Geneva on June 6–7, the festival examines the power of words, storytelling and imaginaries.

Festival Langages returns with the theme “Power & Resistance.” This edition explores how language shapes our perceptions, permeates political discourse, and influences collective imaginaries — while also examining how it can be reinvented or subverted.
For two days, the API museum opens its typographic studios for a program of talks, creative workshops and poetic performances.
Ahead of the festival, the API welcomes the typographic collective Bye Bye Binary in residence. The collective develops inclusive and non-binary writing systems, and will use the API studios to experiment with the creation of wooden typefaces and print them on the museum’s historic presses.
All events and activities will be held in French.

Rencontres, ateliers et performances autour du thème «Pouvoir & Résistance». Organisé par l’API à Genève les 6 et 7 juin 2026, le festival explore le pouvoir des mots, des récits et des imaginaires.

Le Festival Langages revient sous le thème «Pouvoir & Résistance». Cette édition explore comment le langage influence nos perceptions, traverse les discours politiques et façonne nos imaginaires, mais aussi comment il peut être réinventé ou détourné.
L’écomusée API ouvre ses ateliers typographiques pour deux jours de programmation mêlant stands, rencontres, ateliers créatifs et performances poétiques.
En amont du festival, l'API accueille en résidence la collective typographique Bye Bye Binary, qui développe des systèmes d’écriture inclusive et non-binaire. BBB investit les ateliers de l’API afin d’expérimenter la création de caractères en bois et de les imprimer sur les presses historiques de l’écomusée.
