1841: Ein Atlas zur Veranschaulichung des Tarn-et-Garonne
Ein Atlas, der die kantonalen Karten des Departements enthält und von dem Generalrat von Tarn-et-Garonne drei Jahre zuvor an M. Aubry, den Oberlandvermesser des Katasters, in Auftrag gegeben wurde, wurde 1841 in einer Lithographie-Presse in wenigen Exemplaren gedruckt.
Auf Initiative von Aubry wird jede Karte durch eine Vignette illustriert, die ein Denkmal darstellt, das damals als Symbol des Kantons galt.
Die Ausstellung stellt in Anlehnung an einige dieser Illustrationen ein Geflecht aus schriftlichen und bildlichen Archiven vor, um die - ernste oder anekdotische, alte oder neue - Geschichte einiger dieser Denkmäler zu erzählen, die noch heute die architektonische Landschaft des Tarn-et-Garonne prägen.

Commissioned three years earlier by the General Council of Tarn-et-Garonne to M. Aubry, chief surveyor of the cadastre, an atlas gathering the cantonal maps of the department is printed in 1841 under lithographic press, in a few copies.
At the initiative of Aubry, each card is illustrated by a vignette representing a monument then considered emblematic of the canton.
Echoing some of these illustrations, the exhibition presents an anthology of written and figurative archives to evoke the serious or anecdotal history, ancient or recent—of some of these monuments that still punctuate today the architectural landscape of Tarn-et-Garonne.

Commissionato tre anni prima dal Consiglio generale del Tarn-et-Garonne a M. Aubry, capo geometra del catasto, un atlante che riunisce le carte cantonali del dipartimento è stampato nel 1841 in litografia, in pochi esemplari.
Su iniziativa di Aubry, ogni carta è illustrata da una vignetta che rappresenta un monumento allora considerato emblematico del cantone.
In risposta ad alcune di queste illustrazioni, la mostra presenta un folletto di archivi scritti e figurati per evocare la storia - seria o aneddotica, antica o recente - di alcuni di questi monumenti che ancora oggi ritmano il paesaggio architettonico del Tarn-et-Garonne.

Commandé trois ans plus tôt par le Conseil général du Tarn-et-Garonne à M. Aubry, géomètre en chef du cadastre, un atlas réunissant les cartes cantonales du département est imprimé en 1841 sous presse lithographique, en quelques exemplaires.
À l'initiative d'Aubry, chaque carte est illustrée par une vignette représentant un monument alors considéré comme emblématique du canton.
En écho à quelques-unes de ces illustrations, l'exposition présente un florilège d’archives écrites et figurées pour évoquer l’histoire — sérieuse ou anecdotique, ancienne ou récente — de certains de ces monuments qui rythment encore aujourd’hui le paysage architectural du Tarn-et-Garonne.

Encargado tres años antes por el Consejo general de Tarn-et-Garonne al Sr. Aubry, agrimensor jefe del catastro, un atlas que reúne los mapas cantonales del departamento se imprime en 1841 con prensa litográfica, en pocos ejemplares.
Por iniciativa de Aubry, cada tarjeta está ilustrada con una viñeta que representa un monumento entonces considerado emblemático del cantón.
En eco a algunas de estas ilustraciones, la exposición presenta un florilegio de archivos escritos y figurados para evocar la historia - seria o anecdótica, antigua o reciente - de algunos de estos monumentos que ritman todavía hoy el paisaje arquitectónico del Tarn-et-Garonne.
