📚 Auf Entdeckung des antiken Buches - Ausstellung in der Manufaktur
Anlässlich der Tage des Kulturerbes und der Ausstellung des alten Buches in Villefranche präsentiert die Manufaktur eine neue Ausstellung, um ihren reichen Bestand an antiken Drucken zu entdecken, der die Zeit vom Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts bis in die 1930er Jahre umfasst.
👉 Einführungs-Veranstaltung für zukünftige Entwicklungen, diese Ausstellung bietet eine erste Begegnung mit dem alten Buch, seine Geschichte und seine Materialität.
Themenparcours:
- Technische Fragen: Herstellung, Formate, Typografie...
- Historische Aspekte: Druckberufe, Kontext der Verbreitung des Buches
- Schwerpunkt auf die Anfänge der Druckerei in Villefranche im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert

📚 Discovering the ancient book – Exhibition at the Manufacture
On the occasion of the Heritage Days and the Villefranche Antique Book Fair, the Manufacture presents an unprecedented exhibition to discover its rich collection of ancient printed materials, covering the period from the late 16th century to the 1930s.
👉 Inaugural event called for future developments, this exhibition offers a first meeting accessible to all with the ancient book, its history and its materiality.
Thematic course:
- Technical questions: manufacturing, formats, typography...
- Historical aspects: printing professions, context of book dissemination
- Focus on the beginnings of printing in Villefranche in the 17th and 18th centuries
📖 A selection of remarkable works from the fonds will be displayed, accompanied by a slideshow retracing the history of this valuable collection.

In occasione delle Giornate del Patrimonio e del Salone del Libro antico di Villefranche, la Manifattura presenta una mostra inedita per far scoprire il suo ricco fondo di stampe antiche, che copre il periodo dalla fine del XVI secolo agli anni '30.
👉 Evento inaugurale chiamato per futuri sviluppi, questa esposizione offre un primo incontro accessibile a tutti con il libro antico, la sua storia e la sua materialità.

- Questioni tecniche: fabbricazione, formati, tipografia...
- Aspetti storici: mestieri della stampa, contesto di diffusione del libro

À l’occasion des Journées du Patrimoine et du Salon du Livre ancien de Villefranche, la Manufacture présente une exposition inédite pour faire découvrir son riche fonds d’imprimés anciens, couvrant la période de la fin du XVIᵉ siècle aux années 1930.
👉 Événement inaugural appelé à de futurs développements, cette exposition propose une première rencontre accessible à tous avec le livre ancien, son histoire et sa matérialité.
