In 1895, Henri Menier acquired Anticosti Island, at the entrance to the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Canada. The stays of the Menier family on this distant domain are dedicated to hunting and fishing. The chocolatiers also built a city, Port-Menier, and developed agriculture, fishing industries and wood, transforming the island into a singular private colonial enterprise.
This exhibition takes you on an exotic journey to discover one of the most picturesque properties of the industrial Noisiel.
