Die Schrift des Feuers & die neu erfundene Basilika.

Anlässlich der European Heritage Days 2026 lädt artefact93 Sie ein, den Dialog zwischen gestern und heute zu erkunden. In zwei Animationen erfahren Sie, wie die Techniken der Vergangenheit wiederbelebt, neu interpretiert und neu erfunden werden können, um einen neuen Blick auf unser Erbe zu ermöglichen.

Tauchen Sie ein in die Welt der Pyrogravur, einer alten Handwerkskunst, deren Ursprünge bis zu den ersten Zivilisationen zurückreichen.
Von alltäglichen Gegenständen, die mit Feuer dekoriert sind, bis hin zu zeitgenössischen Kreationen auf Holz, Leder, Kork oder Papier hat sich diese Technik ständig weiterentwickelt und dabei ihren einzigartigen Charakter bewahrt.
Während des von Qilé Wang, Jung und Alt werden eingeladen, sich ihre eigene Kreation vorzustellen, zu zeichnen und dann auf einer Holzscheibe zu pyrographieren, basierend auf Fotografien von Objekten aus der Vergangenheit und Gegenwart.
Eine Möglichkeit, das Gedächtnis der Objekte mit der zeitgenössischen Schöpfung in Dialog zu bringen. (Auf Anfrage.)
Die zweite Sequenz erfolgt in Form einer Demonstration, vorgeschlagen von Alle Kartons, der einen neuen Blick auf die Basilika von Saint-Denis einlädt. Ausgehend von einer Darstellung der verfallenen Basilika ohne Pfeil stellt sich dem Künstler eine zeitgenössische Architektur vor, in der sich Vegetation und futuristische Linien verbinden.
Diese aus Kirigami und geschnitztem Karton gefertigte Kreation überlagert die Überreste des Kulturerbes mit einer neu erdachten Vision seiner Zukunft.
Sie veranschaulicht, wie die Vorstellungskraft und das handwerkliche Know-how es ermöglichen, das Erbe wiederzubeleben, indem man seine Geschichte mit den Möglichkeiten von morgen in Dialog bringt.

Zwischen Erinnerung und Schöpfung laden diese beiden Animationen jeden dazu ein, das Erbe auf andere Weise wiederzuentdecken: indem sie alte Gesten wiederbeleben, Know-how weitergeben und die Formen von morgen neu erfinden.

The writing of fire & the Basilica reinvented.

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2026, artefact93 invites you to explore the dialogue between yesterday and today. Through two animations, discover how techniques inherited from the past can be revived, reinterpreted and reinvented to offer a new perspective on our heritage.

Immerse yourself in the world of pyrography, an ancestral know-how whose origins date back to the first civilizations.
From everyday objects decorated by fire to contemporary creations on wood, leather, cork or paper, this technique has continued to evolve while maintaining its unique character.
During the workshop led by Qilé Wang, young and old will be invited to imagine, draw and then pyrograph their own creation on a wooden disk, from photographs of objects from yesterday and today.
A way to make the memory of objects dialogue with contemporary creation. (By reservation.)
The second sequence takes the form of a demonstration, proposed by Toutenkartons, which invites us to take a new look at the Basilica of Saint-Denis. From a representation of the ruined basilica, deprived of its spire, the artist imagines a contemporary architecture where vegetation and futuristic lines mingle.
Made of kirigami and carved cardboard, this creation superimposes the vestiges of heritage to a reinvented vision of its future.
It illustrates how the imagination and artisanal know-how allow to revive heritage by making dialogue its history with the possibilities of tomorrow.

In occasione delle Giornate europee del patrimonio 2026, artefact93 vi invita a esplorare il dialogo tra ieri e oggi. Attraverso due animazioni, scopri come le tecniche ereditate dal passato possono essere rivisitate, reinterpretate e reinventate per offrire un nuovo sguardo sul nostro patrimonio.

Immergetevi nell'universo della pirografia, un know-how ancestrale le cui origini risalgono alle prime civiltà.
Dagli oggetti di uso quotidiano decorati con il fuoco alle creazioni contemporanee su legno, pelle, sughero o carta, questa tecnica non ha smesso di evolversi pur mantenendo il suo carattere unico.
Durante il workshop animato da Qilé Wang, piccoli e grandi saranno invitati a immaginare, disegnare e poi pirograficare la propria creazione su una rondella di legno, partendo da fotografie di oggetti di ieri e di oggi.
Un modo per far dialogare la memoria degli oggetti con la creazione contemporanea. (Su prenotazione.)
La seconda sequenza si presenta sotto forma di una dimostrazione, proposta da Tutti i cartoni, che invita a rivolgere un nuovo sguardo alla Basilica di Saint-Denis. Partendo da una rappresentazione della basilica in rovina, priva della sua guglia, l'artista immagina un'architettura contemporanea dove si mescolano vegetazione e linee futuristiche.
Realizzata in kirigami e cartone scolpito, questa creazione sovrappone i resti del patrimonio a una visione reinventata del suo futuro.
Illustra come l'immaginario e le competenze artigianali permettono di ravvivare il patrimonio facendo dialogare la sua storia con le possibilità del domani.

À l'occasion des Journées européennes du patrimoine 2026, artefact93 vous invite à explorer le dialogue entre hier et aujourd'hui. À travers une démonstration, découvrez comment des techniques héritées du passé peuvent être ravivées, réinterprétées et réinventées pour offrir un nouveau regard sur notre patrimoine.

Plongez dans l'univers de la pyrogravure, un savoir-faire ancestral dont les origines remontent aux premières civilisations.
Des objets du quotidien décorés par le feu aux créations contemporaines sur bois, cuir, liège ou papier, cette technique n'a cessé d'évoluer tout en conservant son caractère unique.
Le public est invité à assister à une démonstration, proposée par Toutenkartons, qui invite à porter un regard nouveau sur la Basilique de Saint-Denis. À partir d'une représentation de la basilique en ruine, privée de sa flèche, l'artiste imagine une architecture contemporaine où se mêlent végétation et lignes futuristes.
Réalisée en kirigami et carton sculpté, cette création superpose les vestiges du patrimoine à une vision réinventée de son avenir.
Elle illustre comment l'imaginaire et les savoir-faire artisanaux permettent de raviver le patrimoine en faisant dialoguer son histoire avec les possibles de demain.

La escritura del fuego y la basílica reinventada.

Con motivo de las Jornadas Europeas del Patrimonio 2026, artefact93 le invita a explorar el diálogo entre ayer y hoy. A través de dos animaciones, descubra cómo las técnicas heredadas del pasado pueden ser revividas, reinterpretadas y reinventadas para ofrecer una nueva mirada sobre nuestro patrimonio.

Adéntrese en el mundo de la pirografía, un saber hacer ancestral cuyos orígenes se remontan a las primeras civilizaciones.
Desde objetos cotidianos decorados con fuego hasta creaciones contemporáneas en madera, cuero, corcho o papel, esta técnica no ha dejado de evolucionar manteniendo su carácter único.
Durante el taller organizado por Qilé Wang, niños y adultos serán invitados a imaginar, dibujar y luego pirografiar su propia creación en una arandela de madera, a partir de fotografías de objetos de ayer y de hoy.
Una manera de hacer que la memoria de los objetos interactúe con la creación contemporánea. (Previa reserva.)
La segunda secuencia se presenta en forma de una demostración, propuesta por Todos los cartones, que invita a una nueva mirada sobre la Basílica de Saint-Denis. A partir de una representación de la basílica en ruinas, sin su flecha, el artista imagina una arquitectura contemporánea donde se mezclan vegetación y líneas futuristas.
Realizada en kirigami y cartón esculpido, esta creación superpone los vestigios del patrimonio a una visión reinventada de su futuro.
Ilustra cómo el imaginario y los conocimientos artesanales permiten reavivar el patrimonio al hacer dialogar su historia con las posibilidades del mañana.
