Guided tour of the temple
Inaugurated in March 1825, the Protestant temple of Sauve is representative of the architecture of other temples, very numerous, which were built in the region in the years 1825-1850.
First, it does not bear the name of a saint, which also corresponds to the absence of statues, icons or representations of saints inside. The interior, rectangular in shape, does not have a choir which, in the Catholic tradition is reserved for priests, considered as intermediaries between God and the believer.
The Bible, open on the altar, and the pulpit occupy the place at the center of the temple, because the reading and preaching of the Bible are essential in Protestantism.
To summarize, like the other temples of the region, that of Sauve favors simplicity, sobriety, the Bible and preaching, which reflects a faith centered on the Word of God and the direct relationship of the believer with God.

Inaugurato nel marzo 1825, il tempio protestante di Sauve è rappresentativo dell'architettura di altri templi, molto numerosi, che sono stati costruiti nella regione negli anni 1825-1850.
In primo luogo, non porta il nome di un santo, che corrisponde anche all'assenza di statue, icone o raffigurazioni di santi all'interno. L'interno, di forma rettangolare, non possiede coro che, nella tradizione cattolica è riservato ai sacerdoti, considerati come intermediari tra Dio e il credente.
La Bibbia, aperta sull'altare, e il pulpito occupano il posto al centro del tempio, poiché la lettura e la predicazione della Bibbia sono essenziali nel protestantesimo.
Per riassumere, come gli altri templi della regione, quello di Sauve privilegia la semplicità, la sobrietà, la Bibbia e la predicazione, il che riflette una fede centrata sulla Parola di Dio e la relazione diretta del credente con Dio.
