Yentel Alber, eine bildende Fotografin aus der Schweiz und Frankreich, erhielt den Cécile-Dufay-Preis auf dem Salon Figuration Critique 2025. Diese Ausstellung ist das Ergebnis dieser Unterscheidung. Es ist die erste persönliche Ausstellung des Künstlers in einer Galerie in Paris und präsentiert eine aktuelle Auswahl seiner "Dystophographien" Sowohl dystopisch in ihrem Universum als auch überraschend menschlich in ihrer Herstellung, sind sie Fotomontagen, digitale Collagen, die vollständig vom Menschen gedacht wurden. Keine KI in der Herstellung oder im Design, sondern eine Forschungsarbeit, die sich rein an der schwarzen und halluzinatorischen Vorstellungskraft des Künstlers orientiert, aber auch lustig und sinnlich ist, besonders einzigartig. Die schließlich entstandenen Bilder, von erstaunlicher Tiefe, sind bis zum Äußersten verfeinert und haben mehr den Charakter eines Gemäldes von Hieronymus Bosch oder Salvador Dalí als einer rein virtuellen Kunst. Die Verzerrung zwischen wahr und falsch, real und virtuell wird durch die digitale Hand der Fotografin integriert und tiefgehend angepasst. Yentel Alber, a Swiss and French visual photographer, received the Cécile Dufay award at the Salon Figuration Critique 2025. This exhibition is the result of this distinction. It is the artist’s first solo gallery exhibition in Paris, and presents a recent selection of his "dystophotographies". Both dystopian in their universe and surprisingly human in their making, they constitute photo-montages, digital collages entirely thought by the human. No AI in manufacturing or design, but a research work purely related to the black and hallucinatory imagination, but also funny and sensual of the artist, particularly singular. The images eventually created, of astonishing depth, are refined to the extreme, and are more like a painting by Jérôme Bosch or Salvador Dali than purely virtual art. The distortion between true and false, real and virtual is integrated and deeply appropriated by the photographer’s digital hand.
