Three years after its reopening, the department of Middle Ages and Renaissance continues to reinvent itself. Recent restorations have allowed the release of a dozen exceptional works and some unpublished, enriching the corpus of the Italian Renaissance and Germanic art. Behind these hangings are so many adventures, from the rediscovery of works in reserve to their presentation in the cinema.
