This visit invites you to discover the interior of the "Queen of the Citadels", built by Vauban between 1667 and 1670 after the conquest of Lille by Louis XIV. Very well maintained, the fortress has retained its military vocation and opens its door to you exceptionally, the time of a visit.
Dates: Sundays in July and August at 15:00 and 16:30 Duration: identity verification (15min) + visit (1h) = 1h15
Online booking is not possible: you can book at the reception of the Tourist Office (ground floor Palais Rihour, 42 place Rihour), or contact our team by phone at +33 (0)359 579 400.
Registration required for each participant, at the latest 7 days before the visit Registration can only be validated upon receipt of a fully legible front-and-back scan of an identity document (ID card or passport) for each participant. The same ID must be presented on the day of the visit, before its departure.

L'inscription ne pourra être validée qu'à réception d'un scan recto-verso totalement lisible d'une pièce d'identité (CNI ou passeport) pour chaque participant.
La même pièce d'identité devra être présentée le jour de la visite, avant le départ de celle-ci.

Dit bezoek nodigt u uit om het interieur van de "Koningin van de Citadels" te ontdekken, gebouwd door Vauban tussen 1667 en 1670 na de verovering van Lille door Louis XIV. zeer goed onderhouden, het fort heeft zijn militaire roeping behouden en opent zijn deur voor u uitzonderlijk, de tijd van een bezoek.
