The shortage of housing in Tourcoing, after the second World War, led to the construction on an experimental basis of two houses "Métropole" in 1952 designed by Henri and Jean Prouvé. You will visit the one that was burned down in 1996 and restored to the same condition in 1999. Both dwellings are protected as witnesses of post-war social housing research and modular and economic housing.

U bezoekt degene die in 1996 is afgebrand en in 1999 in dezelfde staat is hersteld. Beide woningen worden beschermd als getuige van naoorlogse sociale woningonderzoek en modulaire en economische huisvesting.
