Created in 2017, the market garden area of Wavrin is an area of 35 hectares on which the European Metropolis of Lille hosts 6 market gardeners and 2 nurserymen, all in organic farming on plots of 1.5 to 6 ha. Gathered within the association «Biovallée», farmers want to open up to the general public and introduce as many people as possible to their profession, practices and products.
