"Comedy on a train platform" after Samuel Benchetrit by Le Théâtre d'à côté
Direction, direction: Pierre Douliez
With Florian Brasier, Stéphanie Daniel, Carole Tilleul and Jean-Marc Urbaniak
Light: François Cordonnier
The station is a mysterious place with multiple stories at the crossroads of all destinies. We meet dreamers, hurried, asleep, depressed, enlightened, military, eccentric ...and ...lovers. Between the passages of trains, three characters sitting on their bench maintain a conversation for the least original. They seem to know each other, or not. They seem to know where they’re going, or not— Moving crossovers, games of seduction, endless questions, fragile strategies, disturbed from time to time by the voice of the speaker of the hostess who interferes in history. A closed room exploring the love and filial relationships, a sharp vision of the relationships that bind this infernal trio. A touching, tender and nostalgic sentimental comedy.
