From July 11 to September 5, 2026, discover the exhibition Roubaix Photo. More than a century of images, uses and views through the collections of La Piscine
On the occasion of the bicentenary of photography, La Piscine unveils its photographic collection in a unique exhibition where Roubaix and its inhabitants are at the heart of the inspiration of amateur photographers as well as professionals.
"Roubaix Photo" offers a journey through more than a century of images, crossing the uses: from vernacular photography to artistic creation, from industrial memory to contemporary approaches, and reveals the richness of a fund that dialogues with other forms of expression—painting, sculpture, graphic arts and fashion.

À l’occasion du bicentenaire de la photographie, La Piscine dévoile sa collection photographique dans une exposition inédite où Roubaix et ses habitants sont au cœur de l’inspiration des photographes amateurs comme professionnels.
« Roubaix Photo » propose un parcours à travers plus d’un siècle d’images, croisant les usages : de la photographie vernaculaire à la création artistique, de la mémoire industrielle aux approches contemporaines, et révèle la richesse d’un fonds qui dialogue avec d’autres formes d’expression — peinture, sculpture, arts graphiques et mode.

Van 11 juli tot en met 05 september 2026 ontdekt enez de tentoonstelling Foto van Roubaix. Meer dan een eeuw aan beelden, gebruikt en kijkt door de poolcollecties
Ter gelegenheid van de tweehonderdste verjaardag van de fotografie onthult La Piscine zijn fotocollectie in een ongekende tentoonstelling waarin Roubaix en zijn inwoners de inspiratiebron vormen voor zowel amateur- als professionele fotografen.
Roubaix Photo biedt een reis door meer dan een eeuw aan beelden, waarbij gebruik wordt overbrugd: Van vernaculaire fotografie tot artistieke creatie, van industrieel geheugen tot hedendaagse benaderingen, en onthult de rijkdom van een collectie die dialogeert met andere vormen van expressie schilderen, beeldhouwkunst, grafische kunst en mode.
