Die Gambetta-Schule wurde 1913 in einem ehemaligen Herrenhaus an der Grande Rue gegründet, damals ein Nebengebäude des Turgot de Tourcoing Gymnasiums. Einige Jahre später, zwischen 1923 und 1927, wurde auf dem Boulevard Gambetta ein neues Gebäude des Architekten Albert Bührer errichtet. Von hinten sind die beiden Gebäude durch einen Innenhof verbunden. Heute sind es Kindergarten und Grundschule, die die Spuren ihrer Geschichte und ursprünglichen Architektur bewahren.
Die Schule bietet einen zweisprachigen Rundgang mit einem Reiseleiter und den Schülern der 5. Klasse an.

The Gambetta school was founded in 1913 in a former mansion on Grande Rue, then an annex of the Turgot high school in Tourcoing. A few years later, between 1923 and 1927, a new building, signed by the architect Albert Bührer, was built on Boulevard Gambetta. Back to back, the two buildings are connected by an inner courtyard. Today a nursery and primary school, the site retains traces of its history and original architecture.
The school offers a two-voice tour, with a guide-speaker and fifth graders.

La scuola Gambetta è stata fondata nel 1913 in un vecchio palazzo della Grande Rue, allora annesso al liceo Turgot di Tourcoing. Alcuni anni dopo, tra il 1923 e il 1927, un nuovo edificio, firmato dall'architetto Albert Bührer, fu costruito sul boulevard Gambetta. Dietro le spalle, i due edifici sono collegati da un cortile interno. Oggi scuola materna e primaria, il sito conserva le tracce della sua storia e dell'architettura originale.
La scuola propone una visita a due voci, con una guida-oratrice e gli studenti della quinta elementare.

L’école Gambetta est fondée en 1913 dans un ancien hôtel particulier de la Grande Rue, alors annexe du lycée Turgot de Tourcoing. Quelques années plus tard, entre 1923 et 1927, un nouveau bâtiment, signé de l’architecte Albert Bührer, est construit sur le boulevard Gambetta. Dos à dos, les deux édifices sont reliés par une cour intérieure. Aujourd’hui école maternelle et primaire, le site conserve les traces de son histoire et de son architecture d’origine.
L'école propose une visite à deux voix, avec une guide-conférencière et les élèves de CM2.

La escuela Gambetta fue fundada en 1913 en un antiguo palacete de la Grande Rue, entonces anexo del liceo Turgot de Tourcoing. Algunos años más tarde, entre 1923 y 1927, se construyó un nuevo edificio, firmado por el arquitecto Albert Bührer, en el bulevar Gambetta. Dos a uno, los dos edificios están unidos por un patio interior. Hoy en día escuela primaria y preescolar, el sitio conserva los rastros de su historia y de su arquitectura original.
La escuela ofrece una visita a dos voces, con una guía-conferencista y los alumnos de CM2.
