«KIDS OF TOKYO» by Yasujiro Ozu, 1932 (91 min): Reception from 7 pm (snack bar access). Cine concert at 7:30 PM. On screen: William Schotte (cello), Stefan Orins (piano) and Eric Navet (percussion, vibraphone), on an original composition by the trio.
Tinged with jazz, the combination of percussion, vibraphone, piano and cello makes the moving images of this latest film by Ozu speak in its own way. Everything here is made to make this masterpiece of Japanese cinema attractive, musical and playful.
