Le Mémorial Ascq 1944 propose un parcours guidé dans les rues d’Ascq sur les lieux marquants du Massacre d’Ascq survenu dans la nuit du 1er au 2 avril 1944.
Pour comprendre le déroulement de la tragédie qui a touché 86 civils, des hommes innocents.
Des arrêts devant certaines maisons permettent d'appréhender l'effroi qu'a connu la population d'Ascq.
Le parcours montre aussi comment la mémoire de l’événement est inscrite dans l'ensemble du village.
