As early as the 2024-2025 academic year, the LaM and the Culture Department of the University of Lille are joining forces to explore the question, strategic for all of us, of "transitions."
This project, co-constructed with the student community and the teaching staff, will result in the presentation of an exhibition at the Espace culture de Villeneuve d'Ascq, from September 18 to December 12, 2025.
The theme of "borders" will bring together the collections of the LaM, the heritage collections of the University and the fields of research and training of participants: natural sciences, social sciences, engineering sciences.
Several axes will structure the exhibition: the transformations of matter and mind, with the phenomena of change of physical, chemical and psychic states that they entail; the forms of resistance to imposed forces; and the questions of hybridization and recycling as answers to contemporary challenges.
A multidisciplinary cultural program and diverse mediation devices will accompany the exhibition.

Dès l’année universitaire 2024-2025, le LaM et la Direction culture de l’Université de Lille s’associent pour explorer la question, stratégique pour nous tous, des « transitions ».
Ce projet, co-construit avec la communauté étudiante et le corps enseignant, aboutira à la présentation d’une exposition à l’Espace culture de Villeneuve d’Ascq, du 18 septembre au 12 décembre 2025.
La thématique des « frontières » fera dialoguer les collections du LaM, les collections patrimoniales de l’Université et les domaines de recherche et de formation des participants : sciences de la nature, sciences sociales, sciences de l’ingénieur.
Plusieurs axes structureront l’exposition : les transformations de la matière et de l’esprit, avec les phénomènes de changement d’état physique, chimique et psychique qu’elles entrainent ; les formes de résistances aux forces imposées ; et les questions de l’hybridation et du recyclage comme réponses aux enjeux contemporains.
Une programmation culturelle pluridisciplinaire et des dispositifs de médiation diversifiés accompagneront l’exposition.

Vanaf het academisch jaar 2024-2025, hebben de Lam en de Cultuur afdeling van de Universiteit van Lille hun krachten gebundeld om de strategische kwestie van "transities" voor ons allemaal te onderzoeken.
Dit project, dat samen met de studentengemeenschap en het onderwijzend personeel is gebouwd, zal leiden tot de presentatie van een tentoonstelling in de Villeneuve d'Ascq culturele ruimte, van 18 september tot 12 december 2025.
Het thema "grenzen" brengt de collecties van de Lam, de erfgoedcollecties van de universiteit en de onderzoeks- en opleidingsgebieden van de deelnemers samen: Natuurwetenschappen, sociale wetenschappen, ingenieurswetenschappen.
Verschillende assen zullen de tentoonstelling structureren: De transformaties van materie en geest, met de verschijnselen van fysische, chemische en psychische verandering van toestand die zij teweegbrengen; vormen van weerstand tegen opgelegde krachten; en de vragen van hybridisatie en recycling als antwoord op hedendaagse kwesties.
De tentoonstelling zal vergezeld gaan van multidisciplinaire culturele programmering en gediversifieerde bemiddelingsmechanismen.
