On the occasion of European Heritage Days, the local Jean Jaurès de Nevers media library suggests you discovering the job(business) by binder and by restaurateur of old(former) books, a dive at the heart of this job(business) together with Marie Claire Brauner.
Presentation(Display) of raw materials and of tools which the binder / restaurateur needs.
Exhibition(Exposure) commented around the realisation of one faculty similé of a medieval manuscript, resuming(taking back) techniques of old(former) realisations; sewing chevron on twisted leather straps, ais of wood worked, covered with leather skated to give the old(former) aspect. Cabochons and present metallic rooms(parts,plays) on dishes first side and back avoid the rubbings of the leather, cold decoration(set).

Marie Claire Brauner, native of Nevers. COURSE(CAPE) binding-gilding at the high school Tolbiac in Paris (2011): Estienne (Paris) school for the diploma of the Jobs(Businesses) by art in binding-gilding; then, she(it) works two years in Pas-de-Calais within the workshop A2R (Workshop(Studio) binding and restoration(catering)), while it does a training course over three years (two days a month) of restoration(catering) of old(former) books in the centre of training(formation) restoration of written heritage (CFRPE), in Châteauneuf-sur-Loire then in Tours(Ballots,Towers)  ; she(it) gets out of it graduate in June, 2016.
At the end of 2017, she(it) picked up(took down) two prices(prizes) during the competitions of the Jobs(Businesses) by art, in the departmental and regional level.
