Built in 1824 then redeveloped at the end of the XIXth century, this monument presents an architecture and an Italian-style said stage design. Of neoclassical style, its facade presents a decoration(set) evoking arts, especially on capitals(big tops) adorned with masks and with faces(figures) sending back(dismissing) to the different dramatic genres. The theatre, iron on horseback(by horse), is compound(made up) of a flowerbed(orchestra) and three balconies equipped with changing rooms(boxes). So, female allegories evolve in the middle of cherubs in the ideal blue sky of the painted ceiling. The structure of the theatre, principally wooden and perfectly made proportional, explains its remarkable acoustics, which not to be visible are nevertheless one of its most interesting features.
