These tiny animals often live in symbiosis with algae. They build reefs as big as mountains and modify their environment, shaping undersea worlds of teeming biodiversity. Existing for hundreds of millions of years, these organisms are also found in fossil form. Just take a stroll through the Jura Mountains and you'll be able to spot ancient coral reefs from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Join us for a lecture full of life and color!

Ces tous petits animaux vivent souvent en symbiose avec une algue. Ils construisent des récifs aussi grands que des montagnes et modifient leur environnement, façonnant des mondes sousmarins à la biodiversité foisonnante. Existant depuis des centaines de millions d’années, ces organismes se retrouvent également à l’état fossile. En se baladant dans le Jura, il suffit d’un oeil averti pour reconnaître les anciens récifs coralliens du Jurassique ou du Crétacé. Rejoignez-nous pour une conférence pleine de vie et de couleurs !
